The New York Times recently published their "52 Places to Go in 2025" list, and both Norway and Washington D.C. make the prestigious list.

Washington, D.C., is set to be an exciting travel destination in 2025, offering a mix of cultural events, world-class festivals, and unforgettable experiences.

Springtime in D.C. is synonymous with the Cherry Blossom Festival, a breathtaking celebration of the city's famous pink blooms. From late March to mid-April, the Tidal Basin will be transformed into a floral paradise, offering visitors scenic walks, cultural performances and a Cherry Blossom Parade. The festival is a must-see for anyone looking to experience the beauty of a D.C. spring. This summer D.C. will host the famous WorldPride 2025, opening with a concert by Shakira at Nationals Park on May 31. Sports enthusiasts can also check out the Capital Cup, an exciting multi-sport festival featuring swimming, rugby, rowing, roller derby and more! The Smithsonian's National Zoo has recently welcomed two new additions in the giant pandas Bao Li and Qing Bao. These beloved bears have quickly become one of the zoo's top attractions, making a visit even more special.

Whether you're drawn to vibrant celebrations, iconic landmarks, or unique wildlife encounters, the capital of the United States has something for everyone.

Nestled along Norway's southern coast, Kristiansand is a picture-perfect seaside town known for its charming architecture, cultural scene and history.

Enjoy a stroll through the city's old town, Posebyen, filled with whitewashed wooden houses, taste your way through the seafood at Fiskebrygga, or explore the city's scenic hiking trails that weave along the coastline. Art lovers must visit the recently opened Kunstsilo museum, located just outside the city center. The museum is a renovated old grain silo, and houses over 5,000 pieces from the Tangen Collection, one of the largest collections of Nordic Modernist art. The pieces are donated by Nicolai Tangen from his own private collection.

Whether you're drawn to world-class art, stunning coastal scenery or the charm of this Norwegian city, Kristiansand is a gem waiting to be explored!

Lofoten, a breathtaking archipelago above the Arctic Circle, is one of Norways most spectacular destinations. With dramatic mountains, deep fjords, white-sand beaches and limitless adventures, it is a bucketlist item for 2025.

With the summer-sun bathing Lofoten in 24-hour sunlight, you can hike stunning peaks offering panoramic views of the turquoise fjords, take fjordcruises to see clifs and coves, rent kayaks or stroll trough charming fishing villages. Surfing is also a must in Lofoten, with wetsuits available for rent to brave the chilly waters. In the winter, Lofoten is, if possible, even prettier with northern lights dancing across the skies and white snow covering the mountains. Enjoy both cross country and down-hill skiing, and warm up with saunas and cozy christmas markets.

With its picturesque nature, untouched nature and thrilling activites, Lofoten is an unforgettable destination.
