Norway Means Business PFAS Seminar

On June 11th NorCham DC and the Norwegian Embassy in Washington, D.C. co-hosted a successful Norway Means Business seminar on "PFAS Forever Chemicals Challenges Facing Communities Across the Globe"



NorCham DC President Idar Voldnes introduced Simen Ekblom, Minister-Counselor, Norwegian Embassy for welcome remarks, followed by a keynote address from Dennis Calvert, CEO of BioLargo, a cleantech and life sciences innovator and engineering services solution provider.



We then heard a series of panels exploring state and local perspectives, technical and business solutions, and federal and global policy approaches.


The discussions featured a dynamic group of experts and leaders including:
