Syttende Mai Celebration

NorCham DC was honored to co-host the annual Syttende Mai picnic at Carderock Park in celebration of Norway's Constitution Day, together with the Norwegian Society Washington DC, Sons of Norway - Washington DC Lodge, the Norwegian Ladies Club, and Downtown Jaycees Foundation.

The family-friendly party featured live music, parades, children’s games, and remarks from guest speaker Trygve Bendiksby, Deputy Chief of Mission, Royal Norwegian Embassy in Washington D.C.
