Welcome to Washington Reception

On October 10th, we hosted our annual Welcome to Washington at our new Georgetown waterfront office, for the Norwegian-American business community to welcome new Norwegian Embassy officials.

Norwegian Crown Prince Visit to the U.S.

In early October, NorCham DC and several Norwegian-American organizations joined H.R.H. Crown Prince Haakon's visits to Minneapolis and New York City for a series of valuable cultural and business engagements.

NorCham USA Presidents Council

NorCham leaders from across the United States gathered in Chicago in September for the annual NorCham USA Presidents Council - an energizing two-day program of strategy sessions, member updates, and collaboration across chapters.

During the council, participants met with Jo Sletbak, Norway’s Consul General in New York, Hege Vibeke Barnes, Managing Director at Innovation Norway Americas; and former U.S. Ambassador to Norway under President Clinton, Tom Loftus, who recently released his book Mission to Oslo.

While in Chicago, council attendees also joined the Kongsberg Discovery × NorCham Chicago reception held alongside OCEANS 2025, connecting with Norwegian companies exhibiting at the trade show.
