November 14, 2014 STATSRAAD LEHMKUHL, a three-masted barque rigged vessel, visited Norfolk last week. The vessel is used to train sailors from the Royal Norwegian Navy. She was built in 1914 by the German merchant marine. England received her as war-price after World War I and was later sold to Norway. On November 14, the Royal Norwegian Navy and the Norwegian NATO contingency in Norfolk hosted a reception onboard. Although cold it was well attended and as always (this is the 10th year she is visiting Norfolk) everyone onboard had a wonderful time.
