Invest in Norway & TTIP: Implications for Norway

NACC MA took part in a morning seminar in Chesapeake, Norfolk, discussing on the topic of “Invest in Norway & TTIP: possible implications for Norway”. NACC MA president Katharina Brekke Powers gave a great speech on investing in Norway followed by a presentation by trade Councelor from the Norwegian Embassy Ivar Engan, who talked about trade policy. Further, NACC MA board member Scott Wheeler from Bay Diesel talked about the importance of being involved in organizations promoting trade to seek new opportunities. Raytheon, member of NACC MA was as well present and shared important success stories from their collaboration with Norwegian defense companies NAMMO and Kongsberg, pointing out the important US-Norwegian relationship.
