Idar Voldnes is CEO of IntraPoint, a Norwegian and US based software company focused on “Protecting what you care about”. Since 1999, IntraPoint has worked with local and global organizations to develop Incident & Crisis Management plans and response solutions that are now available in the cloud. Idar is also President of the Norwegian American Chamber of Commerce in Washington, DC

Eirik Tord Jensen, President, Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace USA 

Eirik Tord Jensen is responsible for all KDA USA marketing personnel, keeps an oversight over, and facilitates for the business development operations in the U.S. Eirik served in the Royal Norwegian Navy for twelve years. He was educated and served as a radar engineer before graduating from the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy in 1988. He left the Navy as a Lieutenant Commander in 1995 after serving as a commanding officer on different fast patrol boats over the last five years. Eirik has worked within the Norwegian Defense industry for 25 years on both engineering and management level. He has among others served as COO of Teleplan Globe AS and CEO of Saab Technologies Norway AS before joining KONGSBERG as Director Business Development in 2015. He has also served as Chairman and member of the Board of Directors in various defense Norwegian defense companies. Before taking the position as President of KDA USA, Eirik held the position as Executive Vice President Space & Surveillance, Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace AS. In addition to his role at KONGSBERG, Eirik serves as President of Norwegian-American Defense and Homeland Security Council (NADIC) and on the Board of Directors of Norwegian-American Chamber of Commerce, Mid-Atlantic Chapter.

 

Ryan Marth, Partner, Robins Kaplan LLP 

Ryan Marth advises U.S. and international clients on all aspects of their businesses, including contractual relations, distribution, pricing, privacy, protection of intellectual property, and compliance with U.S. and foreign antitrust and competition laws. After serving as a law clerk to Hon. Helen M. Meyer of the Minnesota Supreme Court, Ryan began his career at Robins Kaplan, working under the nation’s premier trial lawyers in the most complex antitrust and commercial cases.Now Ryan continues to use his experience in complex litigation to help clients anticipate business challenges, spot problems before they arise, and avoid conflict and litigation down the road. When conflicts do arise, Ryan has proved his ability to help clients to obtain favorable business results. For example, Ryan was among the lead lawyers for a class of merchants that obtained a $5.54-6.24 billion settlement in an antitrust class action against Visa, MasterCard, and their member banks – the largest such settlement in the history of the antitrust laws. He has also obtained favorable results for smaller businesses, including securing the third-largest ever settlement with the City of St. Paul on behalf of a business owner whose services contract the city breached.

 

Kaare Risung, Partner, Schjødt DA

Kaare is a telecoms lawyer who works extensively with electronic network contruction, inter-connection and access issues. With the passing of years, focus has increasingly been on the content business on electronic networks, such as content regulation, platform issues, content aquisition, marketing law, IP and privacy.

Kaare follows his clients in the field across their needs, with contracts, regulatory issues as well as transactional work, establishment of JVs and other forms of industry cooperation.
