About the event
The Norwegian-American Chamber of Commerce, Mid-Atlantic Chapter and Ashoka USA has the pleasure of inviting you to a business-social matchmaking event on Wednesday, April 17. Since 1981, Ashoka has pioneered the concept of social entrepreneurship, supporting a global network of more than 3,500 social innovators. Now, it’s promoting hybrid value chain alliances between corporations and civil society groups, tapping each sector’s separate strengths to sustainably create a more just world. The session will include remarks from NACC-MA President Mr. Idar Voldnes and a presentation of Ashoka’s work and impact in the United States, followed by an informal happy hour. Meet Ashoka fellows with groundbreaking ideas and join in on the conversation about business-social partnerships!
