Members of NACC MA took part in today’s “Green Shipping – Technology for a Low-Emission Maritime Sector” Breakfast Seminar hosted by The Royal Norwegian Embassy in cooperation with DNV-GL and the Norwegian Shipowners Association. Norway’s Minister of Trade and Industry, Ms Monica Mæland attended and gave an interesting speech on the topic of promoting Green Maritime Industry.
On the occasion of the Minister’s visit to DC, a luncheon was hosted at the Ambassador’s Residence following the seminar where representatives from key Norwegian industry got the opportunity to present themselves and discuss Norwegian-American business and trade. Many of the Chamber’s corporate members had the pleasure of attending, and we would like to thank the Embassy as well as the Ambassador for this wonderful opportunity!
